The view from the balcony was breathtaking, overlooking the sea and valley. The breakfast was scrumptious with a variety of options to choose from. The pool was clean and relaxing, perfect to take a dip and escape the hot weather. The service provided was lovely and the room was equipped with all the necessities to ensure a comfortable stay.
The location was a bit far from the city center, but it was worth it for the peace and quiet. The Wi-Fi could have been a bit stronger as it was difficult to connect at times.

A view of the ocean from our window. Within walking distance a bus stop. We will be returning here soon if we go to Funchal. We loved staying at casa do papagaio verde.

Limited parking and difficult to park on the street. the room had a musty smell and the furniture was outdated.

The staff at this hotel were warm, welcoming, and professional, making our stay a truly personal and enjoyable experience. We were impressed by the attention to detail throughout the hotel, from the beautifully set and cared-for garden to the homemade specialties offered at breakfast. The rooms, especially those with a great view and kitchenette, were spacious, clean, and provided all the basic amenities we needed for a comfortable stay.
